BIOGRAPHY:
I have been happily married for 18 years and I have one son currently attending the   L-C High school. This is my 15th year of teaching 8th grade Earth science at L-C. I previously taught Chemistry and Advance Chemistry at Florence High School before being hired by John LeClair and moving into the school district.

I enjoy being in the outdoors and have participated in numerous research programs related to the outdoors. I have been involved in wolf studies in northern Wisconsin, moose effects on vegetation on Isle Royal National Park, mule deer populations in Idaho and yellow warbler nest selection in Montana just to name a few. I look forward to going on week long hiking and canoe trips during the summer with family and friends.

I always get excited about the opportunity to guide students to enjoy and explore the outdoors as much as I do. I encourage students to ask questions about everything, focus on the positives, and realize that there is much more to life than just a grade on a test. We never know where life will bring us, but if we work hard and are respectful of others most things in life will work out just fine.
